The courage of sand mafia is high in Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh. The sand mafia crushed an assistant police sub-inspector to death. This is not the first incident in Shahdol district. This is the second such incident in six months.

Know the whole matter?
ASI Bagri along with his two colleagues had gone to Badauli village to arrest the accused.
Near Khadauli village at around 11.45 pm, they saw a tractor filled with sand coming towards them.
ASI Bagri asked the tractor trolley driver to stop, but the driver crushed him. Due to which he died.
Deceased sub-inspector Mahendra Bagri (37 years) was posted at Beohari police station in Shahdol district. He was a resident of Singapore, Satna.

Police action ?
The driver was identified as 19-year-old Raj Rawat. Police arrested Ashutosh Singh, the driver and son of the tractor owner.
Senior police officials have announced a reward of Rs 30,000 for the arrest of the owner of the tractor.
This is not the first case
This is not the first case in Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh. This is the second such incident in six months. In which the sand mafia has killed two government employees.
Earlier on November 25, a Patwari was crushed to death by a sand mining mafia with a tractor in Gopalpur village under Debalund police station of Shahdol district. Deceased Prasanna Singh was posted as Patwari in Beohari Revenue Department for 40 years.
