Lok Sabha Elections 2024 : The Lok Sabha elections in India, the world’s largest, have started from Friday, April 19 i.e. today. The Election Commission of India is trying to ensure that every eligible citizen exercises his or her right to vote.
How you can cast vote without Voter ID
Voters who are not able to present their voter identity card as per the orders of the Election Commission. Such a voter must produce one of the alternative photo identity documents to cast his vote.

- Indian passport
- Pension document with photo
- Official identity cards issued to MPs, MLAs and MLCs
- Passbook with photo issued by bank or post office
- Health Insurance Smart Card issued by Ministry of Labor
- Unique Disability I-Card issued by Ministry of Social Justice
- Smart card issued by the Registrar General of India under National Population Register (NPR)
- Service I-Card with photograph issued to employees by Central or State Governments or PSUs
