Amid the controversy over YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia’s obscene comments, the Maharashtra Cyber Cell on Tuesday filed an FIR against comedian Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Talent. While complaints have already been filed against Samay and Ranveer in Mumbai, the state cyber cell has now registered a case against around 40 people who were part of the show in the first six episodes.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had on Monday hinted at action over the remarks, saying, “Everyone has freedom of speech, but our freedom ends when we encroach upon the freedom of others”
